Nilai-Nilai Kearifan Lokal sebagai Garis Haluan dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the values of local wisdom from the direction or basis in the form of
characters that appeal to students. Along with the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, many cultures
are entering Indonesia as if there are no restrictions governing it. The weaknesses that most Indonesians have are like
"accepting" it and not being able to filter it out. Many cultures enter, there are several aspects that are imitated by most
Indonesian young people from various styles to the west to free society and deviant sex. At this time it is truly an irony
reflected by the Indonesian nation. It is needed from various parties, especially in us to reach this great house and not
to undermine the morale of NKRI youth too far. In order to rebuild a dignified nation, an educational process is needed
by instilling local wisdom values or local cultural values. As confirmed by the 7th president of the republic of
Indonesia, that society must shape the breath of life and life in the education system. How important is the world of
education as a medium or more in advancing national culture. The nation's culture is a reflection of the values of the
work of taste, initiative and the work of Indonesian people.
