Abstract

The development of teaching aids in the form of a circulatory system model was motivated by the lack of teaching
aids available in elementary schools. Abstract learning using teaching aids in the form of visual images that make
students difficult to understand the subject matter delivered, because there is no motivation to learn, so that the impact
on student learning outcomes is low. Students have different learning styles, such as: visual, audio, and kinesthetic.
Therefore the teacher seeks to make an innovative props in the form of a circulatory system model that can be used in
learning using demonstration models. The purpose of making these teaching aids is for students to understand more
clearly and in detail about the blood circulation process in the human body which students have only used images as
visual media, and students can be motivated and learning is not absent, so student learning outcomes can increase. The
purpose of making a circulatory system model for children's learning motivation is to provide a concrete picture of
information and new ideas and to unite the material that the teacher will convey to the knowledge that will be given to
the child, so that the material delivered by the teacher is well received by students. The circulatory system model itself
can be made from used or new items. This props is a new development of the previous teaching aids, and can help
teachers with technology, so that learning can run effectively, and students can understand the material well.
